I love Zooey Deschanel and her sweet, quirky nature. I've seen her in Elf, 500 Days of Summer, and New Girl, though I recently discovered that she also sings in a duo band called She & Him with M. Ward.

Also I'm really tired of Zooey constantly being compared to Katy Perry. Yes, they sometimes look similar but so what? They're completely different people!

2 Broke Girl$

I can't wait for the first episode of the US comedy 2 Broke Girls to air on E4. There's no telling for sure yet whether it'll be a good watch but it looks promising. I recognise the brunette from Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, plus I found out her name is Kat too so I instantly like her...

Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with £86,400. Every evening whatever part of the balance you fail to use during the day is deleted. What would you do? Draw out every penny and use it well, of course! Each of us has such a bank - time. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Invest the day's deposits well, or the loss is yours. How could you bring the most contentment, happiness and benefit to yourself and others? The clock is running. 

A friend posted this the other day and I thought it was quite a nice concept to think about on those frequent days where, if you're like me, you struggle to motivate yourself to do something.

Le Café Parfait

So, Café Rouge isn't exactly an underground secret - in fact, type in 'caf' into Google and it's the first thing to pop up. I just want to profess my undying love for this charming café. Delicious french cuisine, affordable prices, cute hand-painted decor, and with a Café Rouge restaurant close to most homes, what more could you ask for?! The service can be a little slow at times but if you have good company with you then that shouldn't matter. :)
